After making many custom birdhouses….. I started something new – miniatures. While visiting Oregon, I noticed a couple of miniature houses at a real junk store.

They apparently were started, never finished and not constructed very well. The basic foundation for the house was ok but time had taken its toll on the rest of it. I passed on buying them.

Spring forward a year and here they come as a present from my sister. Well, only one came. She kept one for herself, which I probably will end up restoring.

If the photo is not on the main blog page, check the archives. The house is almost finished but now...on to the inside. The slide program is furniture - mostly handmade and upholstered by my talented wife Susan.

Oh yeah....I haven't given up bird houses and included some of my artistic endeavors. Most of them were made for family and friends.

Flash.... I have now taken up bear carving.
At first, it was experimental -- but now it is my passion.
